I don't know what it is but I am never bothered by Joe's dopiness. Just comes off as harmless. And here he is, some joke telling, MMA meat head, sitting across from scientists and philosophers trying to keep up, while attempting to create an engaging conversation and having to occasionally play Devil's Advocate to keep an episode from being one of perpetual agreement. It's a job not without challenges.
The latest one I enjoyed was Wim Hof. A fun and eccentric character.

I enjoyed it but I noticed the same thing. Not only did they have the exact same conversation about chimpanzees as last time but that wasn't even the second time they've had it on the JRE. Damn tara lynn fox completely ruined that podcast. Constantly dominated the conversation, ran lliza straight out of the building with her craziness (and that's saying something since lliza is a nut) and was just generally a dumb whore.
