Also Tagomi's arc made him aware of the parallel universe slowly. In the show he just kind of meditates a bit casually and then teleports into a parallel universe for no reason.
The I Ching is barely even mentioned apart from one or two instances where his aide brings it up randomly.
If they are going to change everything they could've at least made it make sense internally.
Instead we got some wonky live triangle bs.
In the end none of it makes sense really.
