The reason this show sucks isn't because of SJW pandering or BBC. As somebody who actually enjoys capeshit, it sucks because there's no fucking action, momentum, or interesting universe. The episodes are 75% her personal life dealing with work and romance. I thought this was going to be goddamn "Supergirl", not "It's Kara!". Literally the only scenes involving her life as Supergirl are the opening and closing scenes, as well as a few seconds before each commercial break, basically the times where the show has to say "look, it's Supergirl, please don't shut this off!". My theory is this: Essentially with superhero shows/movies, you have males that are eye-candy and they have the eye-candy physique. Girls see capeshit to fawn over them.
