There was another show that was based around some guy having a dodge viper and adding guns and shit to it to fight crime. That was even worse.
I think maybe the A-Team started the trend but there were horrendous shows plotted around a badass dude on a badass vehicle doing badass things on every channel for a while.
They say leaded gasoline caused people to be retarded and violent and that the banning of leaded fuel can be correlated to the unprecedented reduction in urban and suburban violence nationwide. That sounds plausible to me but I also think tv has gotten better too.
