Milligan's character makes perfect sense, though, he tries to sound educated to make up for the fact that he's black. It's been hinted plenty of times he had a rough childhood and doesn't have the respect of the mob he works for because of his race. Why did they just completely skip over that for the sake of a much less interesting plotline? The wife snitching on the Kansas boys, the Undertaker plotline and the girl that wants to bust a nut getting her deserved death were all plotlines that should have been shortened for the sake of the one that actually matters.
