You know what this guy helped me realize? I'm not racist. The difference between Michael B Jordan and John Boyega, is that Michael is a likeable actor, and you are invested in seeing him on screen.
The reason I don't like John Boyega is not because he's black, it's because he was a poor casting decision and he lacks star quality.
Casting quality actually exists with black people, same as it does white. Hollywood needs to realize this. They can't just shove a random black actor in your face and expect the same results.
Idris Elba doesn't bother me. Wesley Snipes, Carl Weathers, Will Smith don't bother me. Morgan Freeman doesn't bother me. Ernie Hudson, Samuel L Jackson, Harold Perrineau, Keith David, these are all great actors. Dave Chappelle and Richard Pryor are my favorite comedians. I'm not being a c.u.ck here, I'm just sharing my realization with you.
