Original is always better then pointless remakes for people who can't read subtitles. People who say otherwise have only seen the remake.

t͏͏b͏͏h this is the first remake of this kind I've ever seen (with the sole purpose of bringing it to english language) so it's hard to generalize like that
most other remakes change a lot of things
Just watch either, they're the same movie just different actors. It's very different then his other movies, not as slow paced and artsy, much more entertaining.
