If your anus is itching, rather than scratching it (which can break the skin and make the problem worse), try gently dabbing at the area with a damp tissue until it's clean.
I personally keep a little washing up liquid bottle with water in it by the toilet. After the first wipe I moisten a clump of toilet paper and clean my anus with that, then dry with a fresh piece of toilet paper.
As a result, my anus has been itch-free for four happy years!
