Didn't see it in the theater, but Grown Ups is the worst movie I've ever seen.

My family enjoyed it. Along with other Sandler movies.
Not sure how I feel about this.

Holy shit you're either living a dream of only seeing the best of the best in theatre or you're the worst lowlife pleb if you think Funny People was even remotely bad.

Probably Avatar. And it wasn't that horrible too.

I had a splitting headache before it even got halfway
Got dragged to it for my friend's birthday

This piece of shit.
Anchorman 2. The first half was bearable but the third act was the least funny thing I have ever seen. There was only one funny joke and that was the one about Salem Oregon because I was watching it in a theater in Salem.
remains the only movie I've ever walked out on

Friend at theatre let me in no charge. Still felt ripped off. Wish Trank had killed himself and Basketball B Jordan.

Jesus this is dreadful. Give my brother a glance to see if we should just walk out, ultimately decide to stay in case it might get better. It doesn't.

I should have walked out after the first egregious product placement not five minutes into the movie. This is the only movie I've watched that actually made me angry after watching it. Fuck the characters, fuck the stupid ass story, fuck the dinosaurs, fuck this piece of shit.
>>63012026
I know people will assume you're trolling, but I completely agree with you. Honestly might be the worst big budget blockbuster I've ever seen. It's so rare to witness a movie that so passionately hates its audience. The fact that it was met with unbridled commercial and moderate critical success genuinely worries me.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief is another close contender, but I'll give it a pass as it's literally a children's movie. So I'd have to say either District 9 or Clash of the Titans with the Avatar guy.

It's a toss up between Alien vs Predator and The Possession.
I probably hated AVP the most, as I'm a massive fan of both franchises, and the games and comics, and the film just felt like they were shitting all over it. I till remember laughing hysterically at the Predator's 'surprised face' at the end when the Queen bursts out of the ice.
The Possession was probably objectively the worst though. Was one of those string of 'spooky kids' horror films that came out after Insidious was inexplicably popular. It was basically about some jewish demon that lived in a box and possessed the youngest daughter of this family (the box was their possession geddit!?.) Had some tremendously dumb scenes in it, like the mother finding the daughter eating raw meat in the kitchen in the middle of the night. It actually had one pretty interesting scene, where the daughter has a CAT scan which reveals this creepy face in her chest cavity, but is ruined by the other daughter doing a terribly acted scream. In fact if I remember correctly basically every scene in the last half of the film ended with someone screaming.
I'll be the one to post it then

Jackie Chan's First Strike when I was 12 which I actually enjoyed a lot from what I remember but I loved Chan in the 90's. And about 2-4 years ago. Some marvel or DC movie that I don't even remember the name of.
I just assume the person I go with is into the movie so I never make the move to leave.

Bangkok Dangerous (the Nic Cage version) is certainly the worst film I've ever seen in theatres. But not having paid to see it (theatre hopping) it doesn't make me angry that I sat through that piece of shit.
Having been dragged along and convinced to pay for my own ticket for a showing of Transformers 2 during its opening weekend in a theatre packed with fucking retards, THAT makes me fucking mad!

Ignoring how stupid that is, the product placement of JP and JW works in the sense that these are massive high budget theme parks with corporate sponsors. In something like Man of Steel it was fucking stupid because it just throws itself in your face for no reason. It never bothered me in JW aside from the cars which were shot like a fucking car commercial in every frame they were in, all the other product placement sat comfortably in the background and worked on a realistic level, which is appropriate considering Jurassic World's viral marketing campaign and website, advertising it as a real park. The effort put into it is astounding.

That's pretty funny. Just because every horror film of the past decade or two has for the most part been utter shit doesn't make this film any less mediocre. It's more of the same overdone posession bullshit with people in old person makeup going 'BLEH'. That's not horror, there's nothing scary about old people make up. (See: Insidious)
Nevermind that horribly bland ending! Maybe if the mother had suddenly reverted back to being posessed once they removed her restraints and snapped her kid's neck or something there would at least be some kind of redeeming moment in this dull dreadful heap of recycled tropes. But no, we get the sun coming up and a teary-eyed 'we're a family again!' bullshit hollywood ending.

Jurassic World is a reboot there's no reason it shouldn't stand on its own otherwise it'd be called "Jurassic Park 4". And your point about the product placement making sense within the movie is just stupid. If they really wanted to show off the park as being heavily sponsored in universe they should have made up companies instead of using actual ones. As it is the product placement distracts from the movie and on the whole just increases the bad taste in the viewer's mouth upon watching the movie. Jurassic World made obscene amounts of money it didn't need to be a commercial as well.
