What movies actually get better with each subsequent rewatch?

TDKR, at least the first six or so minutes anyway.
Honestly I haven't watched the full movie since it came out on blu-ray but the Baneposting Genesis Scene is certified 110% dank and continues to get danker.

>It wasn't too bad a movie but holy shit not worth seeing twice.

I have! cronenberg really elevated and expanded on a lot of the books ideas in some great visual ways. A lot more of a clearer message too. Very rare time I prefered a movie adaptation over the original source.

... You're joking right? Even the publishers call it a con job. He did it for the junk, man. Seeing an outside perspective of it is much better than having to read about it all.I read the book before I watched the movie. After the movie I enjoyed the idea of the book a bit more. I still enjoy ah pook.

I feel like this is 3/4 rewatchable. Following R2D2 and C3PO at the beginning drags on a little bit, as well as the general pacing of the attack on the Death Star. Everything else about the movie is pretty comfy though.

All gangster films are just explorations of masculinity, particularly without femininity.
aka homo erotic subtext
aka any action movie ever
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
army of darkness
>>62994500
but it's not that it's lacking femininity, it's the underlying femininity and prissyness in this particular movie that makes me think its gay.
Pulp Fiction
Dogtooth
Fargo (1996)
One Flew over the Kekoo's Nest
The Shining
>>62994500
Little Caesar is a Gay Gangster Film.
Black Dynamite, lots of subtle jokes you'll miss the first time around.
