The greatest acting performance of all time, the most fascinating, human and fleshed out character in all of film-making. This was a once in a lifetime achievement. I don't think it will ever be surpassed.

Tone is a completely different person in the first and last season. He doesn't even sound similar. Gandolfini fucked up.
I'm such a jovial fat fuck
*stabs plate with fork*
Oh god I'm so bloated. My hands are all swollen I can't get my rings off.

His accent got stronger, but that's how it is all throughout after the first season.
>>62974934
his entire character was summed up in Happy Little Wanderers.

I think it's actually pretty cool to see and hear how the character developed. Actually blew my mind when I went back and watched the pilot.
Also, James Gandolfini appreciation post.

Think again fatty.
Actually, my only trouble with The Sopranos was how loathsome a character Tony was. Regardless of the characterization.
I couldn't agree more James Gandolfini shits all over Bryan Cranston.
Bokeem Woodbine just did it!
The fuck all?

Three Ids in one character.
1. The placating Minnesotin'
2. The Hood strait' pimpin' the whole central time
3. Actual fucking flipping crazy badass!
Pacino performance in Part 2 was better and 500 hours shorter tbqh
The Emmys at least nominate the Woodbine?
GOD DAMN, THEY BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No it wasn't. Micheal Corleone never felt like a real human being the way Tony Soprano did. Gandolfini gave a much better performance and covered every range of emotion. He said more with his eyes than Pacino ever could with his voice.
