It's pretty good.
Needed more Gene, though.
"Right, boys! Before we go in, quick word about police brutality! I wanna see a lot of it!"
>>62948336
....there's a US version?
First series was good, then it all went pants on head retarded and they got Keeley Hawes in who is fucking useless, and it really went down the shitter.

>Oh dear, not very happy. Is it Gene Hunt? Is he kicking in a nonce?
>>62948336
God fuck that was awful
Wonder how pissed Keitel was.

in it the 70s is a simulation to keep astronauts occupied during a space trip to mars.

US version grill is superior
>BBC makes a show set 20 years previously
>Don't need to waste time or resources making it authentic since all their shit is 20 years behind anyway
>that'll be mandatory £250 a year m8s

Doesn't UK have a qt chunky brunette? Or did I confuse it with another cop show?
Is there a reason on why John Simm didn't reprise his role in Ashes to Ashes? I mean, it's pretty clear that they wanted to.

He was busy doing anything else, it's not like his career has been lighting it up since then.
Whatever someone thought about a "sequel" going into Ashes to Ashes, THAT is the ending we all deserved. It took wayyyy too long getting there, but ties up both series beautifully, even if that one dude they add in series 3 is a creepy asshole.

It is a pretty good remake, except for the shit ending. There is also a Russian remake called "Dark Side Of The Moon", as Bowie was not popular in the USSR but Pink Floyd was.

>He was busy doing anything else, it's not like his career has been lighting it up since then.
Bit harsh. For a UK TV actor he's been doing bloody good work, and stage work too. Short of attempting to break into films there's not much else he could have done.

>It is a pretty good remake
>super mutant playing Sam Tyler
fuck that guy
