What's that movie where some people are stuck in a cellar and there is what appears to be a nuclear war outside.
They get sealed in by some biohazard people.
It's a good movie.

Honestly there really is nothing else in the same class. It's pretty much the reigning king of post apocalyptic movies.

the movie is pretty shit though

Who the fuck was Guy Pearce in this? No memory of him in there
The Rover is pretty good
Different kind of movie but that's mostly based on geography to population so I think it's great

the father at the end

The man at the end, who takes the kid in.

No Blade of Grass
It's a low-budget 1970s post-apocalyptic scenario, sort of like The Road meets Mad Max. Like the former in that it's a journey by a small party to what they think might be safety and more like the latter in that it's set immediately after the event and not years and also in that it has roving gangs of bikers.
Well worth a watch if you can find it and tolerate the quality. The writing is pretty redpilled, of course this genre demands nothing less so that can be said of any post-apocalyptic movie.
The Rover is okay and the dude from Robert Patterson gives a really really good performance.
