Watched this for the first time recently. I loved the UK Office so I thought it might be okay but fuck is it awful. They just took the realism, subtlty and believability of the original and turned it into 'haha silly fat man is stupid and likes pies and says silly things' and 'nerdy man has silly glasses and hair haha'. After Michael left the show the quality dropped. But the UK Office really picked up in its third season. So, while the US version got worse over time, the UK got better. I don't think a single episode from season 1-2 of the UK version was any good.
