Not him, but I liked the humor of the first one, and how it toys with noir conventions (the femme fatale is not fatale at all). Its a really nice little story. The second half drags for me. Its too cute for its own good

fallen angels fags are just contrarians. its very similar but has a different tone. it completely lacks the atmosphere and chemistry of the actors. chungking express is almost cheerful in its sadness, while fallen angels is just depressing
