Dr. Strangelove.

It amuses me and I can rewatch it whenever without it getting old. It's probably not his best objectively speaking, but it's my favorite. The dark comedy and combination of sincere performances (George C. Scott, Slim Pickens) combined with the tongue in cheek comedic performances (Peter Sellers, Peter Sellers, Peter Sellers) makes it stand out for me. I also have a little bit of a boner for cold war fiction.

None, as Kubrick is entry level cinema, he's not even good.

He was a cinematographer, not a director. He can't create a story worth a dam.

If I HAD to pick one though? Probably Clockwork.

Eyes Wide Shut followed by 2001.

I just love the atmosphere in this movie.

Probably this. My Dad showed it to me when I was too young to appreciate it (same with 2001). Watched it years later and laughed my fucking ass off. Not his best but so rewatchable.

This.
I would pick Barry Lyndon though. Maybe not the one with the best cinematography (that would be Shining) but the best all around. A good 7/10.

2001, dear OP.

Was my first step in understanding film language.
