Both are overrated shit Episode II is infinitely superior to both and underrated as fuck.
Personally, ESB. Mainly because it ends with the Empire winning, leaving the viewer in anticipation for the thrilling conclusion.
TESB was better directed, very well written, had better cinematography, editing, acting and the most iconic plot twist in cinematic history. It was just as entertaining as ANH, but darker and more interesting.
Not only is Empire the best Star Wars movie, it's also the best movie sequel of all time.
