Even without his face shown, it gets across the idea of Vader's internal conflict, by his body language alone. THAT is excellent movie-making/story-telling.
Adding the line just makes the scene make no fucking sense. Vader going "No....NOOO!!" would've tipped off the Emperor that Vader was about to try something, and would have given him enough time to react.

It's odd that scene has seemed to calm the "Han shot first" waters. Another that really changed the dynamic of the movie.
With the original having him blow away Greedo made his character a little more roguish and really helped along his image as a "look out for #1" kinda guy. It made the scene outside the Death Star when the Falcon comes screaming back into shot so much more satisfying.

There's not a real noticeable difference, MKV plays friendlier on computers but the AVCHD will be guaranteed to play in most Blu Ray players. My BD player does not have MKV support (and I was burning to DVD-9's) so I went with the AVCHD

Not only does it have all that bullshit, but the colour correction is absolutely fucked, at least with IV. There's this magenta tint to the whole thing, very apparent whenever someone fires a blaster, and certain scenes are way too dark.
What's weird is this is something which has consistently been fucked up with each new 'remaster.'
The despecialized versions may only be 720p, and look a bit ropey in places where DVD/laserdisc footage was upscaled, but at least the colours are right.
