The ESB twist is very underated. Everyone thought that Vader was black (JEJ was a popular actor, even with white folks). That reveal (set up by the helmet removal scene earlier to establish Vader as white) was pure genius.

Not OP, but here's a small spoiler for you guys:
The Force "awalens" after the Rirst Order use their Starkiller Base's destructive capability. It's sort of a nod to ANH when destroying Alderaan created a disturbance in the Force (TFA implies that it's one of the reasons why Luke was able to use the Force to destroy the DS, even if he was just a beginner. The destruction of the planet "awakened" his Force potential, sort of a Yin/Yang thing).
When the SK destroys a solar system, a bunch of people start to show Force sensitivity. Rey, Finn, Poe (and Leia, but she dies at the end of the movie. So does Han. Chewie becomes the protector of Rey and she "gives" Finn and Poe her BB8 bot).
Luke feels it and comes out of hiding. Snoke (not the name used in the movie, but it's that character) tels Kylo that the Awakening was his plan all along. He was just using the FO to achieve it.
