How much does the average film goer actually know who Goddard is? I'm not talking about people who've seen entry level stuff such as Bergman, Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, etc. I'm talking about people who watch nothing but Capeshit, legitimately praise Nolan like he's some sort of genius and have more than likely never heard of the three directors I listed.
