I'd probably pick Frasier's apartment, although I'd rather live in a different city.

I think you can see a door from the hallway sometimes, and it's clearly a door to a small triangular room in OP's layout (though it's not official). I always thought the service elevator was on the other side of the regular one facing his apartment, or maybe somewhere around there.

I guess I have about the same mental image, but if so then it means the third apartment on their floor is either much larger or much smaller. Four apartments would seem like a rounder figure but again, Frasier's apartment is all over the place.

I don't think there is a "canon" layout of the Simpsons house. I think the size, number and arrangement of rooms changes constantly from episode to episode.

You people don’t know shit about real estate if you think the Simpsons have a nice house. The size is fine, but there is a lot wrong with it.

The formal living room is a thing of the past, no one uses those anymore. If someone was buying that house today odds are most people would have no idea what to do with one of those two rooms. Most designers have gotten rid of the formal living room in exchange for a room that would function as a personal office, but neither of those rooms is really set up for that.

Not that weird on older houses, but newer ones favor a more open design. If they got rid of the closet in the entry way and made that another access to the kitchen it would help the flow of the house tremendously.

I’d be willing to sacrifice a lot more space in the master bedroom for a bigger master bath. There are three key things that will sell a house: kitchens, closets, and bathrooms. Make sure those three things are baller and the rest of house almost doesn’t even matter.
Also they got the location of the basement wrong, in most episodes its shown to have access under the stairwell in the entry way iirc.
