Everyone knows the original is a classic so you have to hate the remake so you can sound like a true film fag.
The reality is that the Halloween series has been a cheap cash grab series for fucking decades. The idea that the Rob Zombie remake is "disrespectful" is fucking hilarious. It's sort of dumb that the last half of the movie is basically a scene by scene remake of the original but it is no worse than the dog shit that is in a huge percentage of the rest of the sequels.
Horror has always been a "trashy" genre but that is also part of the fun. The Rob Zombie films have shit parts, yes, but also some entertaining as hell parts that definitely puts them above average when it comes to said horror genre.
