What does /tv/ think of Ruby Sparks? It's basically the only movie about waifus coming to life.

Never saw it, but it looked cool.

Is that the girl from the 50 Shades movie? Maybe it's just because it's 3 AM, but that's seriously what she reminds me of.
It was terrible

Poor Ruby :(
>>62689557
Unfortunately it failed to execute its premise in an interesting way. I still liked it though.

It was actually pretty good compared to all the trash romantic comedies/dramas in recent years
I think Ruby Sparks is an uninspired piece of shit that was the product of someone combining the plots of 500 Days of Summer and Stranger Than Fiction.
>It's basically the only movie about waifus coming to life.
Weird Science did it better.

this, but it also hit me way too close to home. very accurate depiction of a narcissist, smug dano was perfect for it
>It's basically the only movie about waifus coming to life.
That's not Weird Science.
That's not Mannequin.
That's not Cool World.
I liked it. People say that having a male+female directorial team helped show both the male and the female perspectives on romance and relationships, and it really did in my opinionnot that I know anything from experience LOL;_;
I expected a lot of Frodos ITT not getting the point asking "why didn't he just minmax and write her to be able to shit diamonds and cure cancer????" but I guess /tv/ isn't that autistic after all.
I do wonder why his "perfect woman" was uglier than his actual ex, though.
