Harrison Ford is charismatic but he isn't an actor, he's an entertainer. Mark Hamill can't act, period. Inb4 muh Joker, that's a nerd thing. Carrie Fisher was high during the entire thing. Alec Guinness is a great actor but he was just there. They were playing archetypes on a silly space adventure so it's not like anyone expected good acting. Lucas's style of directing actors didn't help. By ROTJ, everyone was tired of the project.
