If the goal of a documentarian is to document things, then honesty and transparency in the editing process is key. Michael More is disingenuous and edits his films to fit his narrative.

Moore has caused more butthurt than probably any other documentarian ever, while getting an Oscar to boot. Like him or hate him, he has a gift that any 4chan shitposter can only dream of.
I'm liberal as fuck, but his documentaries are incredible one sided and cherry pick facts.
Take "bowling for columbine" for example, he tried to prove that more guns = more death, except in canada, where they have less strict gun laws and less gun murders.

It seems like he started out the documentary with the intent on proving that guns are evil, and stronger gun laws prevent mass shootings, but as he went along filming his theory blew up in his face so he kind of had to say "fuck it" and just release the documentary.

Unfortunately, this film was preaching to the choir, and didn't do anything to effectively educate, or communicate to the other side why people didn't like Bush, or why his administration were full of crooks, liars, assassins, and war criminals. If this film had ANY impact on the U.S. film watching public, then Jon Kerry would've won the 2004 election. Michael Moore's heart was in the right place, but failed at educating people or changing anybody's mind about George W. Bush, and his administration.
