DOR was for hotheads who need to get outta here. It's Van Damme's movie and suddenly Akins takes it over. Regeneration was the Unisol series on steroids.
It was the first to introduce the MMA style combat as apposed to the typical Karate/Kickboxing hollywood style of the original. And it worked. The action scenes were more brutal and Dolph was back.
In DOR Dolph looks like some weird tag along.
