imho the tutu interview was overrated tbh. smh.

it was good, but he really didn't hit him hard. i mean come on, the shit in south africa was horrible. and the shit that mandella's party did was horrific. i would have lit into tutu if i got to interview him for tv. i would have tried to see exactly how much he knew about the murder gangs. i would have seen how much he thought mandella knew.

it's not like mandella got sentenced to prison for being a loud supporter of black rights. his party was literally killing people.

that just sounds like a difference in agenda and interview style. it wasnt supposed to be some kind of 60 minutes in depth interview trying to catch him out on something or expose some kind of hypocrisy. it was more of a light hearted interview to get a glimpse at his experiences and view point on things. if it was any other kind of tv interview then maybe i would agree with you but for a late night comedy talk show interview it was pretty great
