Yeah, I think that's how it usually works.
I watched season 1, loved it, then struggled through season 2 to the point that I watched other shows and didn't go back for like a year.

then I rewatched 1, then 2 and loved 2, then the rest of the show.
2 is my favorite, honestly.
I think the other seasons should've been just as insulated.

That being said, he is specifically written to be insufferable, he is the sole reason everything set up in season 2 comes crashing down.

The biggest retard in the entire season, the seemingly useless comic relief character who can't do anything right, completely fucks up everything for everybody. He is the most vital character in season 2 and therefore one of my favorite characters purely from a writing standpoint

He is an idiot, but that is the point.
I like him, i wouldn't want to hang out with him or anything, but as a character he is perfect.
