The only European cinematography still worth exploring at this point is ex-Yugoslavian. Unfortunately Czech movies suffer from the same shit all of the east-of-the-iron-curtain countries' movies suffer from, while Yugoslavia was more under the influence of the west (so you can see many movies that are pretty much the same quality and with very similar themes as for example Italian or French movies of the same era). All of the other countries (I'm assuming you're more or less familiar with the Western European cinematography, so I'm focusing on Eastern Europe) literally only have 2-3 films worth mentioning at most.

Czech movies arent anything special with cinematography, with few exceptions like Markéta Lazarová (which is still inferior to similar Andrei Rublev) or style of Švankmajer, Daisies are imo non working pretentious shit. But there are amazing storytellers with real life heroes, literally the older guys in the pub with amazing stories, some find it fascinating, some dont. True Czech hero is extremely "normal", kind of a loser who will tickle your selfconscious in a specific perverted way, kinda Bukowski's Chinaski? I love Czech comedies and Imo best Czech movies are The very late afternoon of Faun by Chytilová and The Firemen's Ball by Forman. The best series is Byl jednou jeden dům
