Varys says he serves the realm but obviously supports restoring the Targs to power. He seems to always want peace but when he's talking to Illyrio he seemed to imply they needed the realm at war to weaken it. He helps Littlefinger by telling him Catelyn Stark was coming to King's Landing so that he could lie about Tyrion wanting Bran killed which if Varys knows everything should know that's not the case. If he despises Littlefinger so much why help him here. He informs Bobby B about Dany being pregnant and she almost died to poisoned wine. Is Varys incompetent or does he have some secret motives for doing the shit he does?

I found the scene to be incredibly well written. Even the "I love Cersei" bit, because it fits show Jaime. But I though Edmure's acting was shoddy. Whatever he was doing with this voice was weird. It sounded like he was going in and out of accents.
