Anyone remember the Godfather trilogy promo from 10 or so years ago? I can't remember the channel, but it was a non premium cable channel like FX or USA or something.
I remember it being in black and white and it took place in a large open room with iconic scenes being projected on a far wall, standing in the room were dozens of men and women (fans) reciting along with these blank, dadpan faces--I think they were supposed to be "moved" or enchanted but they just looked like zombies.
It was like a living facebook page with this mob of plebs circle-jerking and wrestling with validation.

Here's the deal, Deniro's character is a fucking loser autist who falls in love and begins obsessing over (and creepily stalking) some blonde chick. Eventually he loses his shit and goes on a murder spree. The film depicts him surviving said spree and ends with him driving his taxi cab as the blonde chick as his passenger. In reality I believe the idiot actually fell into some kinda coma during his spree and his "fairy tale" ending is just what he's dreaming.
Decent movie, but overrated as fuck, probably because all the autismos can relate to the fucking creepy retard protagonist.
