From time to time, we have threads here to dump favorite travel pictures.
Doesn't seem to be one at the moment, so here.
For a change, can we have a theme? Maybe pics that in some way involve night.
River scene in Bangkok. At night.
Kuwait skyline from the beach on the SE side of town.
Commuter heading home from work in Bangkok.
Street partiers, liberation day national holiday in Kuwait. Everybody gets in their car, packing squirt guns, and goes nuts along the main drag by the Gulf. SIlly string is now banned becasue the young men would use it to block the windshield of cars with pretty girls in them, so the girls would have to get out of the car and clear it away, and they could chat them up. Irked the social norms, plus left masses of silly string somebody had to clean up later,

Some shop in Hong Kong
Northern lights in Iceland. It was a full moon night, and my camera sucks at low-light pictures, so it's not the best pic, but it was amazing to see.
Saint Mark's in Venice, the tide was up and the square was flooding a bit, trying to capture the reflections.
Venice street
Not TAKEN at night, but it's the Saturn V rocket they have on display at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, which was what they used to go to the moon, and the moon is sort of night-related.

Here's the one in Houston. Impressive as all get out -- pictures don't capture the sense of how big they are, to think of them flying is stunning.
Riots in Istanbul.
sunset from 10,000 ft about Maui on Haleakala Crater. You can see the top of the opposite side of maui, and the top of the next island over.
I've got a lot of nice photos my wife and I took on our honeymoon in Rome so I'll upload a few nice ones over the next few days.
Here is the inside of the Pantheon, looking up at the dome.

Basically a flying skyscraper, that is fucking insane.

Behind the Pantheon, some bloke on a stick.

A view of a triumphal arch from inside the Colosseum (think it was Constantine's but there are about so many triumphal arches near the Colosseum and forum I might have remembered that wrong).
>>973438
The temple of the Vestal Virgin's in the Forum, with the sun overhead.

These are all very nice, but you seem to have drifted off the theme a bit...

You need to say more...

I thought the OP's use of maybe meant it was more a guideline than a rule, I do have a few nice night time ones I'll post later though as an apology.
