Going to Shreveport/Bossier City for Memorial weekend...any suggestions? Where to eat, gamble, not get killed?

I know I'm in for a treat when the top restaurant on trip advisor is Margaritaville.

Go to the cub, eldorado is better than margaritaville. Stay away from jewela , Hollywood, hoody type places. There's a sushi joint in bossier off airline that's good

Unless you really like casinos and come from a state where there are none, don't even go there

Nope, too late hotel is booked and everything. I live in Dallas, and just wanted a quick getaway that was something different.

I am a big gambler though, so I'll be in the casino most of the time.

Oh alright, if you're a big gambler it won't be too bad

By our standards Shreveport is a really bad destination, but as a quick gambling getaway from Dallas, sure you'll have fun. I just don't know anything about casinos so no advice there sry

Why not just go to WinStar? Largest casino in the US, and a quick drive from DFW. Dallas anon here too.
