You can't integrate because you're not Japanese. It doesn't mean people won't accept you, but you have to accept you're a gaijin and all the baggage that comes with it. People will be interested in you because they want to practice English and learn about your country, you will never be treated like a regular Japanese person except by good friends. I have a lot of Japanese friends who really like me but they definitely treat me different from how they treat other Nihonjin.
In terms of getting a Japanese gf, you have to be aware of the following;
