What do you guys do with downtime? I have been travelling all over East Asia. I am coming back to the states for 3 months in April then going back to Japan for a while. Any suggestions on what to do for 3 months? To short to buy a car or enter a rental agreement. I don't want to stay with family for more than a week or 2. Was thinking of staying with friends but looking for better ideas? What do you guys do between travelling?

Work or if I don't want to work, I'll get a sublet somewhere cheap and a gym membership. I'm happy working out every day, eating healthy, and reading all day.
