I went there in May 2014, and the queue was long as fuck. I think we spent about two hours of waiting, if not longer. Thankfully, it wasn't as crowded in the museum, but the Sixtine Chapel does lose some of it's charm with lots of loud Chinese tourists around.

Go north (going off on the map you posted here) alongside the old wall of the Vatican. Follow it all the way around the northeastern corner of the Vatican. You'll run into a long queue following the wall sooner or later. If my memory serves me, the entrance to the museums are on the left side of the little rectangular building above the words Belvedere Casino on your map. Two large metal doors, can't miss them.
