If you're from a place with real winter seasons, you won't find Vegas to be nearly as bad. Now, if you're going outside of Vegas to the places like you've pictured, you're gonna want more. It's damn cold out near arizona and Utah. This is where you'd find places like your picture.

thanks, no will just be on strip day and night walking it i the day between resort and likely in the evening occasionally... are your suggestions daytime or night, or both, if it is low 20's in day we consider that nice summer day in n europe. is that likely?

Prepare for 10C weather because that'll probably be more the average. It's below 20C already here, with some nights hitting the 35-40 Ferenheit mark. Not sure where that lands on the Celsius scale but it definitely gets pretty cold. If your winters average less that 10C you'll love the weather here.

Recommend nights on the strip as its definitely more lively. But day time trips are better because you'll have smaller crowds and less drunk tourists.

re the strip, oh no tips needed there, ive been 3 times, just never in feb, i was using strip walking as example of how long would be outside. nights will just be on strip juming between casinos/clubs

I just got back from Vegas literally today.
I'm from England so I'm pretty used to the cold weather.
I was there for a week and very day was clear blue skies and about 18-23 degrees Celsius. I was rocking jeans and a t-shirt most days and wore a jacket for 1 of them.
However in the evening the temperature drops a lot and a jacket is a must.
Also if you plan to leave Vegas and go into the desert at all, wrap up like a fucking eskimo, as soon as that sun starts going down the degrees drop quicker than Morgan Freemans voice

Looking at NOAA stats for Vegas, it looks like the average February high is 16-17, and the average low is around 6, with possible extremes between 30 and -10

That being the case, historical trends don't impact your packing much -- you'll need to bring a jacket. Regardless of historical norms, each day you can the decide if you need it in the morning or not.

It's the desert. It can be 100F during the day and gradually drop to 30F at night. Even in winter months. Just bring a jacket and tie it around your waist.

what i usually do is bring both clothes for warm and cold just in case because shit over there i expensive. also cause like others said, vegas has that bipolar day night shit so cold and heat in one day.
