Report 2008 003.jpg

Hey gang,

I am a 21 year old Canadian, I have completed one year in Australia on a working holiday visa in 2013, and this January I will be heading across the pond to start working and living in the UK. I already have my working visa approved. So far:

>have a savings of $6000 CAD, will save another $2500
>Have experience travelling

My question is, can you guys give me some tips on where to settle. So far I have considered Belfast, Edinburgh, or Manchester.

Any tips/information that may help is greatly appreciated. Thanks fuckers.

Belfast is a hole, consider Derry over it, It might be small but 1. Less darkies, 2. Got a face lift after City of Culture and 3. You are only an hour drive from Belfast if you need to work up there.

As for Manchester its full of Muslims and immigrants.

Out of all of these i'd choose Edinburgh.

Hey OP, what exactly do you do to earn money? How did you save $6k? What kind of jobs are you doing whilst travelling? I guess you didn't go to Uni.

OP here, I work as a bartender currently, and have done that since my first year of Uni in 2012. I am currently in my 4th year of studies, but am taking some time off on another gap year.

I am hoping to score a job in hospitality or the restaurant sector. I have experience bartending, serving, as well as reception at a 4 star resort during my time down under.

Thanks for the reply, Edinburgh seems to be the general consensus.

Is the Islam community much more intense than it is here in Canada? I have lived in a few provinces in Canada, but currently in New Brunswick. What can I expect as a white guy in a place such as Manchester?

>>1039182

Thanks bruh, I have also been told I need to pick a football team asap or else ill be an outcast among men. Any ice hockey over there? How much for a quarter bag of weed?

Thx

Yo, my man, don't tell anybody but Leeds is the fucking shit. If you're cool go there.

Come to Cardiff. Welsh people are kind of like the English but we're not cunts.
>>
Why not London, OP?

Britfag here.

I live in The Lake District and I love it here, but York is my favourite city.

I'm not sure about Manchester, but I'm living in Birmingham, which has one of the largest Islam communities in Britain.
You might see some stand in the city centre trying to promote Islam and you'll also see a fair amount of Muslims walking about in the city centre.
Whether you're full /pol/ or not I'm not sure but for me it's not a big deal really.
It's not like Cleveland which is 50% Black, natives are still the majority

Also to add, Edinburgh I haven't seen much of but what I did see was fairly nice, like a modern city but without the shit parts.
York is a much more traditional city, but is one of the best cities I've seen, it's lovely.
Depends whether you want to work for some big business or if you're fine with something more humble

Is it true Welsh chicks are uber horny?

I would love to settle in London. I will be spending my first few days in the UK there as I will be flying into Heathrow. From what I have been told, London is ridiculously expensive in terms of living. But worth it, perhaps?

I see. Shouldn't be too wild I suppose. I have seen some crazy documentaries about islam in the UK I guess that scared me off
