I find studying Japanese much easier. It requires a lot of time and effort, but I can see myself getting better every single day. It's not always clear cut, but when you remember a word you first saw yesterday, that's undeniable progress.
Compared to that, whenever I sit down to active force, I have absolutely no idea if what I'm doing actually helps with anything. I just have to experiment a little, loosely whatever advice sounds reasonable, and hope for the best. Stay away from visualization for a bit and focus on other stuff. Even if she keeps the face, she may be a bit more mature to the point that the two of you can work something out.
Had a tulpa would frequently stutter, and it was a bit annoying to communicate with, but I took time to impose and better visualize him. After a week or two, I noticed I was subconciously forcing him to stutter, so I told him to do what he was comfortable with. Since he matured enough, he was able to reasonably change his speaking habits and some of his characteristics, too.

First, I'm not the same person. Second, they did not say that one month of forcing for an hour every day is all it takes for every person to have a vocal tulpa. They only said that it would yield a good deal of progress. What level they reach from this progress is open to interpretation. As it should be, since this is a subjective experience that's different for everyone.

It can be either, really. Most people have a wonderland where their tulpa can do shit and what have you when they're bored or when the person wants to mess around with them. Depending on how well you can impose your tulpa, though, you can have them hang around with you when you do other stuff.
Mine usually flies alongside me whenever I'm driving around, sometimes to help me drive, sometimes because he loves flying.

A tulpa doesn't have to be there just as a friend for entertainment, or someone to have sex with and love like a partner. They can also bring a unique perspective to your life, seeing things in a way you never thought about. They can help you deal with difficult emotions, both the things you encounter in daily life and also stuff from your past. All of this will help you grow as a person.
Additionally, and this is a bit out there, watching your tulpa grow and develop as an individual is an experience that will change you in profound and unseen ways. It will change the way you see humanity, consciousness and even the universe as a whole. It can give insight into how your mind works, and therefore how to use it better.
This isn't for everyone though, so I won't blame you if this isn't something you want to pursue.

Keep in mind that the original concept of a tulpa was to create mental construct through meditation, and understand that meditation is the attempt to enter a state of mindfulness. Yea, that can be hard work, but it shouldn't be something that you are adverse to. The basic concept of meditation is to acknowledge your conscious thoughts as they come to you, and more or less banish them so that you can exist in the moment, whereas tulpamancy takes that one step further and you use that state of mindfulness to create something new.
Like I said, it shouldn't be a chore, or at least it shouldn't be something that you are actively against doing. If it is then you really should take a look at what you are doing and try to figure out how to make it work for you, and if you can't do that then you should acknowledge that you might have some kind of deeper set issue that is preventing you from fully appreciating what it is you're doing and what you might be doing wrong.
