I have a whole bunch of Pandaguy's stuff saved since the helium balloons in his albums are GOAT wank material. For those of you who have next to know clue who the fuck this guy is, apparently he was a furry who attended a number of furcons and gave out helium balloons, usually 24" ones by the looks of it. From what I've read he seemed like an ok guy? Anyhow, the keywords of this are "was" and "seemed", because in two weeks and two months from now his corpse turns four years old, which I guess sucks since it seemed that he was popular among the furry community.

So not only is tomorrow the day I make one last heist before I go back to uni, but it's also Disneyland's anniversary. Apparently sometimes they have the characters come into the main anniversary celebrations holding balloons and give them out to people in the front row once it's over.

Here's the balloon in my bag.
A little backstory as to why I wanted to get a white one - when I was either three or four my dad took me to a Ford dealership while he was looking for a new car and mum was at work so it's not like I had much elsewhere to go. The dealership isn't there anymore, they tore it down to make way for a Masters and a couple of restaurants. Said Masters opened around the same time the chain said they were on the verge of going bust.
Anyhow, while we're there one of the dealers gives me this kickass white helium balloon. The best part? I did NOT lose it. The only time I lost a balloon as a kid was when some guy at a Maccas handed me a baby blue (i.e. one of the shittiest blues known to man) one through the drive through. I told my parents I didn't want it and was going to let it go as soon as I got out of the car. They told me not to. I did it anyway without an ounce of regret.
My dad, on the other hand... The red Ford he ended up getting got stolen a year or so later, and despite mum's insistence that he report the theft ASAP he took forever to do it. Unsurprisingly, when they found the car it had rivaled JFK's head in terms of how wrecked it was. He's been using my uncle's old cars ever since.

Because phone cameras don't actually take images in portrait. That would require either altering the actual physical camera, or editing the picture after taking it, resulting in some loss of quality. What they actually do is take the picture, check your phone's orientation, and then add a rotation tag to the images exif data. This let's it know how to display the image without changing the actual data. Most common image viewing programs also recognize the rotation tag and display the image accordingly.
This means that when you view the image in a way that doesn't use that tag, or especially when you're posting to a site that specifically strips images of their exif data, you see the image as it actually is. Basically, 4chan isn't displaying your images wrong, your phone has just been lying to you the entire time about what the images looked like.
