This a thread for furry artists to show off their recent stuff and look for feedback or whatever from other posters.
This isn't a request thread.
So, what have you been drawing recently, /trash/? I wanna see
>look for feedback
>on /trash/
Surely nothing bad will come of this.
May as well post my most recent icon commission.
What do people think?

That said, I hate that the OC Drawthreads died so hard. They're fun, but nobody ever contributed. Been drawing in this thread for almost a week. Havin a ton of fun

Second that bump
>>3842762
It's good, damn fine. But I think that when you sacrifice animalistic characteristics to more anthropomorphize your drawings they can come out a bit strange. Overall pleasant to look at
>>3853396
Thanks for the feedback! The commissioner kept asking for little adjustments and the beak was one of them... When it was larger, they said it looked more like a blue jay, rather than an owl.
>>3853727
Thamk you very much for the kinds words!
Yeah, I feel you. I don't really draw birds and wanted a bit of a challenge. Happy with the result though!
>>3853663
People could.... you know.... post their stuff? Just saying.
>>3860939
Naw the back would have to be longer and straight with a bit of curve to it, you hit it with the beak I think( I suck at drawing beaks, anyways ) but when in doubt just ref it.
Pic inspired by the song "53 miles west of Venus" by the b-52s
The body proportions are kinda weird, I guess.
It needs a lot more work before I call it done, but thoughts on this work so far?
>>3863639
Really cute. Love the way it's coming out.
>>3863298
Oh I see. I'm bit the best at drawing birds, and should brave really used a reference.... this is a husky I did with reference.

>>3863639
Looks good so far, is this in a spaceship cockpit ? If so might wanna make some details reinforcing that some lights and maybe a screen .
Also might wanna add some vaginal fluids to help push the idea of her being stimulated by anal pleasure.
Anyways just some suggestions.
>>3864068
Yeah, exactly. Always that thing of finishing a bit of art and then noticing all the errors after....
Drew a sheep. Is it my shitty monitor or does the colour looks a bit washed out, because it looks pretty vibrant on my tablet.
ok i'll be honest, this took me a really long time. I personally think it looks perfect, but I want another opinion ok?

>>3865448
Yes indeed! I had to change the colours and move the beak over a little bit before the customer was happy with it.
Definitely more of a digital artist these days.
i did this so i could shake off some rust. just a joke bara version of my oc
>>3867229
Looks pretty cool
>>3865695
Both have their own learning curve. It still the same thing in the end putting down a idea and developing it.
>>3868380
That's true. There's just different techniques and ways of achieving it however.
I find digital cuts out a lot of the middle man, however, it's not as direct as traditional stuff.
>>3869444
Unless you get one of those tablets that you can draw on then that's about as close as you can get to traditional art, well unless you stick a piece of paper on your tablet when you draw.
>>3869891
I use an Intuos right now. It's a really nice tablet though!
I've heard putting paper on it could be damaging? Is this not true?
Also, posting more art so thread has some.
>>3871538
Not sure I heard other artist of doing this, but I just found it awkward so I just tuffed it out till I got more comfortable. I'd post more art my self but data limit coming up. Intuos is nice I upgraded from the bamboo although I should have gotten a bit bigger one but next time.
Have a dog.
Hands are too small but when it comes to traditional art mistakes aren't easy to solve.
>>3867229

heres the last thing i considered finished of my 'sona. ignore the pixel eyes, it was like, a stylistic choice or something
>>3876861
The head is a little too small also. I'd also take another look at the shoulders - they seem a little too broad. The boobs are a little flat and saggy also, unless that's what you were going for, and the thighs seem a bit long.
You have the colour and shading though!
Look up a few sitting poses on Google and watch a couple videos on body length, when it comes to anatomy too. It's just proportioning things out!
A picture for ants. Not really worth posting anywhere.
On a side note; was thinking of doing a Bojack Horseman comic with PB/Bojack drunk sex but I'm unsure on whether I want to make their genitals human or animal in nature. Suggestions?
On a side side note, any tips for commissions? My art is all over the place in terms of quality due to lack of direction so I'm having a hard time figuring out how to set up some rules.
>>3842762
Cute. I'll agree with the other anon however. Sacrificing the animal face to make it more humanoid in shape looks a bit weird.
I kinda chickenscratch (I think?) a lot. Instead of just putting one line I end up putting multiple different lines and I'm having trouble even tracing over one of them on a new layer, lineart ends up looking wonky. I know there's an added difficulty of input/output disconnect but is this a tablet thing or I should train my motor skills more with pencil? Tablet is pretty forgiving when it comes to putting down wrong lines.
>>3881898
Personally I find it beneficial to do both pencil and digital, relaxing where ever you want with a sketchpad on your lap is really comfy and pencil will usually gives you more accuracy.
There's a difference between chicken scratch and petting your lines, both are bad habits but the vast majority of beginners do the latter.
>>3881304
Rules for commissions are usually to find your best quality work and base it off that. Try work towards a certain style you want before opening them up. However, if you're drawing like that and in that style, you could probably open up some cheap sketch commissions and develop a style as you go.
You could find artists you really like and find out what you love about that style of drawing and see if you can emulate it, before putting your own spin on it. As long as it's not a straight up copy, you can usually work with that.
And thank you for the comments about the owl pic!
I realise now that I shouldn't have put the cheeks in and blended with the neck a little more, but that's sorta how the reference looked that was given to me.
>>3882093
Hmm. It's really hard to suppose what my best is. I generally just don't post deliveries/stuff I make that I feel is up to snuff (or that violates FA crap).
Three best are probably these, which I use different methods to do each, which is ultimately my issue. Almost all of them involve working off grayscale initially.
Maybe I'll just do sketches->lineart->Rendered and just attribute off those (color extra ,character extra etc) and create the cost.
>>3867229
here, drawing an eagle OC because 4/7
I didn't want this thread to die but I didn't want to put effort into it either. Someone bumped this thread anyway, but at least I was holding something that wasn't my dick for 20 minutes.
>>3888422
Just advertising those 3 pictures like that would get people interested. You have a couple fandom pictures and porn.
But I see how you mean. Most artists make a sketch>inked>colour>shaded sheet, and then add $5 extra for extra characters or whatever.
Also, how exactly do you draw in greyscale? It's something I've been looking at for a while.
>>3891254
Not a bad start
Needs a cat picture next to it when drawing though for reference, although you said you weren't interested in putting in effort! But thank you for bumping the thread!
>>3877656

>>3893028

>>3896746
Awesome thanks. I'm gonna try this out later!
Throwing out some old art of mine to keep the thread alive
>>3896586
It literally looks as if you just drew a fat girl and put Alphys' really small head on top.
Not that I'm trying to offend, but I would start again and focus more on what her actual body shape is.
She's dumpy and short. Unless you made the head bigger, like, by a lot, it may help.
>>3900344
>It literally looks as if you just drew a fat girl and put Alphys' really small head on top.
I actually did. I just drew the body first and put her head on top. It has no resemblance to her in game model whatsoever. I just drew a body type the gives me a boner and put a random character's head on it.
Just finished it yesterday during a long stream... moving to other stuff today.
Muscle doge inspired by that Amazon girl from the weeb game.
>>3900876
It doesn't look good....
>>3901074
I love your stuff. I sent you a message on tumblr the other day. I don't know if you've seen it yet.
>>3901085
I'm capable of drawing her on model. I'll just make the face more off model so it doesn't clash as much with the body.
What you guys think :3
>>3901092
Yeah I saw it, but I don't often reply. More of a lurker.
>>3901120
Those sketches look a lot better. I dunno if it's because of the colouring on the original picture you posted or whatever?
>>3901134
Oh right. Ok.
>>3901177
That's weird. I did the same thing as the first picture. Drawing a body nothing like alphys and putting her head on. I guess it must be because she looks shorter and stockier in that pic
I haven't really drawn anything considered furry before so I'm having to learn how the fuck you do fur and shit. Anyone got any furry artists to check out to see how they do shit and techniques too.
>>3901202
Oh yeah... This picture isn't great. It makes the whole picture feel disjointed by slapping a head on top.
>>3901203
A lot of the time you don't really need to a lot more to make it look furry. It looks furry right now, but you can add flicks of fur overlapping the edged of the clothing, or add tufts of fur in places.
>>3900982
looking good anon
shiny is best clothes
>>3901233
So on-model heads should only be attached to on-model bodies? Makes sense. I think it applies more so to a character like Alphys though.
>>3901279
Well, it depends on the situation. I mean, chibi style has a massive head on a body that is smaller. But that works a lot of the time.
It just depends a lot. The image that you've posted before looks like you've drawn a human rather than a lizard type monster.
>>3901300
Yeah, I see what you mean.
>>3901127
Biggest issue for me is the faces. There's a lack of depth on some, and it's really bothersome on the dude in the middle since he's looking to the side, yet his face is still kind of dead center with no depth.
It's an alright piece though.
>>3901279
Alphys head is extremely tied to her body, so if you change her body you'll want to change her face to relate as well. I would honestly say stick to her proportions because she want look right almost ever on a human body.
>>3901405
I have terrible taste and think the human body look is hot, but I can also draw her closer to game proportions. Might as well do it next time.
>>3901454
Eh it's not a matter of taste, you just have to figure out how it translates, and alphys head definitely doesn't fit on a human body without extremely redoing it.
>>3901476
I'll just change it next time. I'll probably like it better. And most likely go back and forth between both anyway.
>>3901476
If the artist drew the feet in this picture it would be perfect...
>>3901405
Thanks for that feedback. I see it as well now, it does actually stand out (the lack of depth)
>>3901275
Thanks man. My three main exports are: latex, burmecians and bondage. Seems like everyone is interested in a slice.
This probably doesn't count as Mickey isn't really a furry. But if you have some pointers, I'd appreciate it.

hey im plague, posted this in the bara thread but i'm anxious
how're these prices?
what they're paying for includes lines, colour and full shading
>>3901127
That sahding reeks of lazy.
It looks like you made extremely choppy and fast selections with the polygonal lasso tool, used a paintbucket and then went over some of the shadows with a blur or a smudge tool.
Freehand the shadows in the future and study how light works with different shapes.
You're on the right track, but don't cut corners with this stuff.
It shows.
>>3906363
That's very very cheap for a YCH.
You should have gotten rid of the bears and animalistic features, otherwise people would feel like that certain character has to be a bear, etc.
>>3908435
Gonna mention that the species/gender can be anything in the description when I post it
>>3909062
Ah ok. Make sense!
>>3906363
I sure hope those dicks look shitty because it's a YCH sketch and not what the finished product would look like.
>>3914635
didn't wanna add too much detail until I'm sure that character's gonna be a male right
just in case the person's sona who gets that spot is female

>>3917007
Oh wait, any gender is accepted? I thought you were only drawing male.
>>3919068
Yep any gender is accepted
I generally draw dudes first because I guess that's what I mainly draw/my audience panders mostly to bara, but I try not to leave anybody out

My avatar is a blue tinted version of my character in the top left.
What I'm currently working on. Background is unfinished and going to tweak the lighting on the character just a tad.
Other than that, tell me anywhere and everywhere I fucked up, please.
why a kik?
>>3954411
It's a nice concept and you've started drawing it really well!
However, the ass on the right is too pushed out and the thigh looks too thick and not blended with the rest of the body properly.
The hand is a little bit messed up that's holding the ribbon/rope(?), looks a little too small and the thumb looks like a finger extension.
I can't really tell what that is between her legs. It sorta looks like a penis, but... I don't know.
The head looks a little small too.
Generally though, it's not bad. Just needs a few tweaks. You need to do a lot of shading, light her from the top to really push the angle you're going for.
>>3962482
Thanks for the feedback. It's a little late for me to go back and fix some of the major line work, but I might be able to do something about that hand. When I make a pass at highlights I'll try and really strengthen that angle too.
>>3954411
Did a messy redline and junk. The main thing seemed to be that everything from the shoulders up needs to be bigger. Nipple placement is kinda awkward. Legs were weird (too thick?). Shouldn't be able to see tail at that angle. As for shading just throw a multiply layer on top and make definite light/dark areas. Hope you don't mind me going over your work.
>>3962990
That's tremendously helpful, thanks. The shading is there, it's just pretty faint; I darkened it a bit to make it more prominent here.
>>3963153
Glad the red lines help. Edges for the shadows are all too soft. Most shadows should have a hard and soft edge to them, and a more definite shape. Try some studies of well lit photos if you want to improve your rendering (you could look at figures from VishStudio or MJRanum on deviantart, or check out old masters).

Just post some pics so we can bully you already.
I've been drawing lots of shit lately. Trying to be more productive. This was from earlier today.
>>3968989
I just got here and I've some things to say/ask.
1. What is her story? The katana has me intrigued.
2. I assume you're still messing with the character style, hence the loss of the thigh wool and such?
As for statements, I much prefer the first design overall. ESPECIALLY the outfit, brown works much better on her tanned body than plain Jane white when her hair/wool/whatever is offwhite.
You also missed some leftover sketch lines on the hair portion.
>>3977583
The horn should come more to a point overall, looks like a nub instead of a flattened end, like in all her art.
Everything else is really on-point actually.
Except the obvious "NOT ENOUGH ASS"

You know, what I really need is a psychologist, or at least someone with experience in mental bullshit to talk to while drunk. I can't even describe what I want anymore. And this isn't a blog so whatever
Here's stuff that's most recent, I'd say it's my 'biggest plan' for what I'd like to be a comic or maybe a mix of writing/imagery, anyway it's 6 out of 8 main characters, one left is a mouse and the other is a human. I dunno I just hate keeping a profile or image lately. I'm really fucked up in that way, from week to week
>>3896746
I wanna try this so bad. I suck shit so bad at painting, digitally or traditional. I'm gonna try this, if anyone has more 'painting for retards' please post because I need them
>>3981269
Don't be afraid to go ahead and try it without any preparation. It's good to learn theory from tutorials, but don't shy away from experimenting and try new things by yourself! It may not work out at times, but at other times you may discover something with potential and work off from that.
>>3981269
that painting tutorial is pretty bad, it says paint values but then ends up flat as fuck. you should look at /ic/ for better ones
also i really like your art, it's stylish. have you tried doing more dramatic shading, like with pure black instead of crosshatching? that might look better with such bold lines.
>>3981332
You're right and has been a big art block for a long time.
>>3981481
Maybe I will go to /ic/ usually I don't cause I figure not many interesting things go on there. I'll check it. Either way, can't wrap my mind around painting. Either way, you're right I bet about my style. But I can't lie, Jojo's bizarre adventure had a profound effect on me and taught me it early on, it's hard to shake, even when I know it'll look less effective. It's worth trying though. If I did a comic, maybe I'd consider it more.
I do have a first chapter of a comic available. Dunnno what the best way of linking is, and I don't want to storytime. My audience lumped it into a fetish idea but fuck if I've explained up and down it's a stupid shonen parody. Fuck even if I posted, I'd never continue. I don't know what's wrong with me.
>>3981481
Like I said, not a good guide. I made it fairly quickly and I'm still an amateur in most regards. I was just showing anon how I dealt with going in from grayscale since I'm generally not great at handling colors and their individual values alone.
>>3981741
/ic/ is actually great. If you want some real critique (although sometimes you may experience shitposting) check it out .There's a ton of references, tutorials, and guides to show what I did way better. Spending like a minute on there I found a pretty good practice on blocking in values. You can still work in the color idea in the same fashion if you really want. Post your idea if you want, I can guarantee there's way worse stuff out there.
>>3982010
it's not your fault for it ending up so flat, pokemon are extremely toon proportioned
>>3982238
Eh it's more me just not thinking in shapes properly. Pokemon in 3D would be pretty simple shapes for the most part.
how do I get gud lads?

Among a lot of other things, patience. Don't over-pressure yourself. Improvements are very gradual and take years. So don't jump in into difficult things and take it easy. You're in no hurry.
Also be self-critical, but not self-depreciating. Don't berate yourself and enjoy your craft!

>>3981269
Dude that's some great stuff you've got there. Really nice comic style. Are you gonna do something bigger with it?
>>3985807
Thank you. I would love to, this lineup would be part 1 of a 3 part story I consider my 'biggest' conceptually. But I have like 30+ ideas for comic series. I come up with new characters every two weeks. But I keep acting like putting a pen to paper is like touching an electric fence. I'm so fucked up mentally, I can't even begin to explain--it's not a simple motivation or goal issue, I don't even know what to call it anymore. A big part is how I kind of hate having an image, another is how to handle my super niche fetishes and stuff in my work. But, again, trying not to blog about it.
fuck I can't even post anything recent because it's all fetishy, and not 'vanilla' fetishy like feet or whatever, it's ridiculously alternative.
Oh I know, I'll post incest, that's the most vanilla kink I possess. Here's two side characters, brothers, I wanna draw more toon weasels boinking. Managed to write a story for em too, that was fun.

>>3985975
That's really cute, anon
even though incest upsets me on a fundamental level, so I can't enjoy the picture at all as porn.
I dunno what to suggest man. I have big problems putting ideas on paper too but usually I break through it by just sitting down on my ass and doing it. Just tie myself down and finish a drawing because I keep telling myself to do it.
Anyway man, good luck, I really dig your stuff and I'm still wondering what niche stuff you're talking about. Quite frankly I have few niche things I have secret stashes off and out of shame I only ever shared it with 2-3 people. I try not to work fetish into my serious work but one of the fetishes I can sneak into easily, so at least that's good.
finished this commission last night, I don't often do foot fetishy stuff/these types of characters, so it was a nice challenge
So I think other people and I are holding back on posting cause of fetish stuff, I figure we could probably just go ahead and post, so long as there's artistic merit to be commented on.
>>3987576
I could write a novel in response. The short version: thanks, and the brute force method of accomplishing things shorts out when I have trouble finding a reason to complete it. As for the fetish stuff, I'm fine having two sides, one for more 'general' and one for more 'kink' but sometimes they cross over and maintain the same amount of quality. Eternally "that's just porn, show someone else" and "not porn enough, show someone else".
this pic was born from cynicism but I liked where it was going. My specific kink is, in short, "VERY cartoon/tame bathroom scenarios including accidents/diapers etc" like able to be shown as saturday morning cartoons.
>>3986138
>>3986417
I believe it has artistic merit. But I will ask, for these shygirl things, does the appeal lie in crossing symbolic features with graphic ones? If so I figure it's on the right track, but personally I think cartoon-y, non-detailed features clash hard with graphic, realistic ones.
Finally decided to make a reference sheet of my OC; Lola. Enjoying changing and tweaking her design. Thoughts please?
>>3994612
I'm not fully sure what the whole appeal of shygirls are, it was requested by a friend. It may have something to do with the mystery or something.
>>3994626
cute!
>>3995637
Thank you!
>>3994626
she's cute but her upper arms are incredibly thin
Bumpe
>>3997974
Ah I see that now! Thank you!
>>3901127
Looks like the furry version of that Mr Nice Guy video.
Did some doodles today.
>>4005736
>>3986138
I think shygirls are shit but I like the stuff going on, hairy smelly chicks are great.
>>3994612
Funnily enough at least you have the art that goes aesthetically well with the kink. Separating the kink from the art though, I would say - your characters are very expressive, dynamic. Not really that much on the realism side but you can tell the species apart (Which is what a lot of toony-style artists fuck up constantly).
Anyway - that's all I can say now. Good luck with your endeavours, man. You have something there going.
>>4005736
>>4005753
I like how clean your lines are. What exactly are you using (program/and/tool)?
Only real advise in the Hyena's eyes kind of contrast heavily with her overall face. It's super dilated crazy eyes I'm supposing, but her facial expression etc doesn't give off that same value. Maybe twist the mouth to be a bit more sinister/work with the eyes more? That's my only real suggestion.
>>3994612
You draw toons rather well, but I would suggest, if you plan to do more stuff with humans or human-type bodies, work on that a good bit more. Your style is there, but you draw people a bit off, and faces and expressions in your previous post could use some work. You have these bolder lines everywhere else but when it hits the face it just not there.
>>4007889
Thanks I really wish I could quantify what I wanted and stick to it. It's really not a simple issue, but there's nothing else to do but to go towards it, I guess.
>>4008022
Yeah humans and especially from the collarbone upwards have always been my slowest area of progress but I still show them off because it shows I at least leafed through an anatomy book at one point. Unlike any of my friends (if I had a dollar for every time I heard "But I don't want to draw photo-realism!!) getting them to even consider figure drawings is like pulling teeth.
>>4008711
Just keep doing it then throw your style into them as well as you can. Reference is great and will help you overall.
To be quite honest, while I still see your style in the humans, they don't exactly mix with your other designs (I couldn't see them in the same world). Do you also draw them more stylized like your furry characters? Why not try simplifying further?
Practice drawing, I did not use an original pose.
>>3978178
>How much ass we talking here? Provide reference of this ass, and I shall get to work on another doodle of her.
can we steal /ic/ and /aco/ art thread resources
>>4014215
Well sure, I'd suppose you could. But why would you want to? They are somewhat outdated.
Finished a reference sheet commission. It was fun to do! Gave me a lot of practice.
>>3968131
make it do the sex thing
>>4008022
I see what ya mean, bruh. I can fix that awful eye/expression problem.
As for what program I use, I use Manga Studio 5.0 and I also use the Pen tool. Usually like the Mapping Pen.
>>4011506
That's a lot of ass I gotta draw.
Here's another recent doodle.
>>4016537
Do you have a tumblr?
>>3994612
blog?
Posted this in the femboi thread yesterday but this seems like a better place to get feedback (being a feedback thread and all that)
I want to build up enough of a back catalogue to start a tumblr with a decent number of pics to guarantee regular updates for a while, with a view to eventually starting a Patreon.
This isn't really fully finished yet but I've left it alone for now to start another piece, so the shading and some of the tentacle colour is still only very simple and lazy.
What do you fags think? Am I good enough to get followers yet?
>>4016537
This is great! There is only one issue I can see which is that the foreshortening on the lioness' near leg is off - her knee joint is in the wrong place as a result of the wierd perspective.
Apart from that, I really like this
>>4019435
If you have to ask, just do it!
>>3986796
Oh cause of the netorare? I did that as a joke, I really have no preference who pairs up with Toriel. I just like goat milf.
>>3994626
Just finished colouring the front pose. Thoughts please?
Initial idea for my 3-poster project I intend to sell.
>>4019493
Correction, I think the problem is actually that foot should be lower
>>4016653
No.
>>4019493
Thanks bruh.
>>4021234
Foot should be lower? I think I see what you mean.
Here's another doodle to contribute.
>>4019435
You really need to need to clean up your lines, they look extremely lazy. Also the hair seems to be lacking gravity at all. The composition of the image is quite terrible. You're going to be entering an extremely competitive market, and unless you go for a super niche fetish it's not likely you'll attract much attention with this quality work.
>>4021696
Did you nuke your FA recently?
>>4021835
Yeah, I don't have any galleries anymore.
>>4021876
Surprised to hear about your galleries but I suppose you had reasons for that. I still can't tell if I recognize your art style or not, but if you are who I think you are, man, internet sure is a small place. Sorry for non-constructive post.
>>4022821
What was the account name?
Okay last one. I love doing furry artwork, but I need to focus on building a professional portfolio. I wish the industry was more accepting of furry art.
Thread to show my own work? Well, I'm working on something for FA, my first furry porn thing ever.
>>4024542
Nice lineart bro
>>4024542
FA account?
>>4022837
Rheumatism?
>>4019558
>Toriel
Aye, I made a relevant pic in the draw thread. It's really the only thing I've done recently so I'll post it here.
Also your background here is really nice. What's your method? Just reference and paint?
god, i want to get this commission over with. i want to make it fucking awesome because they've been so patient
right now i need to just do more head studies to know what i'm doing and know more about drapery, maybe i'll add a pillow underneath the arm since it doesn't look like it's able to reach down far enough
then after that i'll work on lighting and background
>>4029654
I like the block in, sharp, texture style you have there. Definitely seems like it will come out nice in the end.
Are you working at that ratio (600x600) or is that just minimized for posting? What's your page if anon?
>>4020337
The character seems too rigid to me, almost like a T-Pose (Pic related). References as simplistic they might be at times must always capture a character's emotion and feelings, at least through some little action or posing. The art overall is nice and I like the coloring the most but while the character is cute and I like the design the finished product doesn’t tell me much.
Just a few things to keep in mind when working with character references that most people will notice and appreciate.
>>4021745
Thanks for the honesty, composition is the main thing I'm having trouble with, this just confirms that I really need to double down and figure it out.
As for the line work, I was aiming to go back over it all soon, but maybe I'll just leave it and work on composition for a while
just clancer cat, still need to work out the form a lot more
wish there was more art of her
>>4027133
MrKashkiet, but don't expect anything great there.
>>4030050
You need to post more often.
>>4024466
Anthro stuff is everywhere. Furry stuff is another question.
I've grown more interested in explorations of anthropomorphism after reading a little more into it. I was already interested, of course, but I've come to view furry-ism as simply another expression of anthropomorphism. This is something buried deep in the human psyche.
Pic related. Medieval Zootopia. There's a lot more rape and murder.
>>4030476
Romance of Renard. Read it up.
>>4029681
Thank you for the feedback! This is just the front pose, I'm gonna do a load of mini poses and a bio thing to tell more about her.
I'll definitely take into account what you said though!
I just really suck with poses. Is there's a way that someone can recommend to get better at them?
Thank you so much for the feedback! I feel I get ignored in this thread, which really sucks.
Finished this up over the weekend, redid the hair like 8 times before I was happy with it
>>4011367
Cute! I like the style.
>>4030599
Why would I be saying that stuff it if I hadn't?
>>4031730
Shame the picture is so small. Can you give a link to your blog?
>>4031960
Sorry about that, I'm on mobile

The expression and face is way too stiff and emotionless. Also she looks like she's staring into space.
I wouldn't necessarily make the face less animalistic but work on the expression/emotion. As is it's a bit too "spaced out".
>>4029146
That was me.
>>3950664
kik is retarded, make a discord instead.
>tfw no bf to teach me how to draw
I can doodle but I never learned to actually "draw" ;-;
>>3900982
Happy late birthday,anon
>>4038849
You need a bf to draw why? Just look up tutorials on the net.
>>4031298
Everybody is getting fairly ignored or commented ITT, don't feel bad about that. But here:
http://www.posemaniacs.com/thirtysecond
You can use this website to get better with poses, it's easy to use and understand.
Basically if you want to get belter with posing learn more about general anatomy. That or you can buy an anatomic doll to base yourself with, but please don't buy the shitty wooden ones, they suck, get an anatomically correct plastic doll and use that instead.
>>4038849
Thanks man. I appreciate it.
>>4040482
nao i cn draws teh guds
>>4039699
>Why
I don't know I just like drawing since childhood ,I also like people who can draw. It's weird, dunno.
>>4041231
Aw no. I was thinking a little bit more romantic. Like he taking my hand and drawing lines with my hand while watching it behind my back and his head on my shoulder and stuff.
>>4041231
oh fuck yeah, i can color shit now too. this is gonna be a great week
this is a commission i just finished
i am not at all happy about it
good thread
>>4045487
Well, the question is, how much did you charge for it?
>>4045487
>When you feel like shit about a commission you did
angry shame
Finished this just a bit ago. Can't really decide if I like this direction of coloring with my art or just blocking/painting things out.
>>4017863
Oh thank you I missed this, but ah I'm not active at any of em. I have a general and kink one but they're both ghost towns, mostly cause I get no satisfaction from my audience and I kinda don't like being social online anymore. playing with the idea of nuking em (for like the 6th time?) for reasons related to my satisfaction, but as others would put it "for absolutely no reason that fucker!"
>>4029775
Aw this is cute. I don't think I've ever seen art of him...her...before.
>>4040482
I used to do this a lot, but never stuck with it! Thank you anon. I'll be sure to stick with this for longer. I really really gotta work on posing a lot.
And I have been seriously thinking about an anatomy doll too. If I see one at the next convention, and it's a good price, I will pick it up.
>>4041231
Thank you for these also! I'll be sure to learn more as time goes on. A very helpful, anon!
>>4050958
If you want something super fancy (Albeit a bit costly) you could try with pic related. Is a figma so is guaranteed to have great posing and articulation and you can pose it for decoration while not in use.
https://www.amazon.com/Narrow-Shoulder-Action-Muscular-HeadPlay/dp/B00N3J8OCQ
But something as basic as this would suffice too. My friends don't like the basic anatomy wooden dolls; they tend to be too stiff. I can’t recommend an specific brand so you’re on your own there, but you shouldn’t have a hard time finding the right doll that would fit your purposes.
You’re welcome.
>>4051258
someone else, but is it wrong that I'm triggered by the joints? I mean I can see the great detail on the rest of the figure, but I feel like with any type of mannequin I have this sort of qualm.
I am actually a shitty wooden mannequin user so I'm looking forward to upgrading to something better, but...I dunno if I'm just being too anal about this.
>>4051424
As someone that used to lurk /toy/ a lot back in the day joints come by personal preference. I don’t have any example to show but I’ve seen some terrible joints before, the examples I’ve sent seem fine to me but I can understand if some don’t like them.
Just look up for stores online and you should find sometime you should like. So long the joints remain anatomically correct they shouldn’t be an issue in my opinion. There are toys that cover most of the joints with rubber/silicone to give the feeling of flesh but those eventually end up tearing and are also more expensive as result. Might as well get over it or keep looking for something that will satisfy your needs.
>>4033556
Thanks! Expression is one of my weak points, I really need to do some studies.
>>3977583
Do you post your stuff somewhere?
>>4053175
He baleted his galleries
>>4049711
nice
>>4051258
Thank you so much for the help! I will have to see if I can save for one!
>>4047346
$30
>>4050520
That's a shame, but I can't complain as I've recently removed my accounts for likely the same reason. I just enjoy cartoony artwork though, and hope you will return
>>4065125
That's pretty reasonable, to be honest.
>>4053175
Nah, I'm elusive.
I finished this tonight. I hate myself.
