Blake fought Roman 2v1 with Sun and Roman was holding his own pretty well, then in the next season she brings some Dust and utterly curbstomps him.
Yang is probably the most consistent, discounting how she utterly jobbed to Neo in twenty seconds flat.
Weiss' power is incredibly overpowered, giving her access to buffs, battlefield control, team mobility assists, barriers, area of denial attacks and now a walking siege tank capable of turning a Paladin into scrap metal even when half-assing the summoning.
And she lost to a guy armed with a fucking trumpet.

I do wish more people played it especially with how easy it is to get a PS2 emulator and find a ISO but I also feel like it's a special hidden gem that I love.
If you look there is actually a very recent interview with the creator of the first two games. I haven't watched it yet because of work but I hear he discusses interest in a third game.

Yang is literally Goldilocks, that's why her eyes change color. She's only been going RED (too hot) all this time, and it only got her so far. Now we're about to see her go BLUE (too cold) which is going to be a different kind of power but still not get her what she wants because she'd be a depressing and hostile cunt as a result.

I don't think he meant moving shadows, but rather still ones that appear for a moment within the flurry of blows in order to make it harder to tell where the real one is coming.
The problem is that Blake can only set a clone in the position she was in, like a still capture that continues to exist after she keeps moving away. She hasn't been able to project one even slightly farther away.
Yang needs to start fighting like Midoriya from Boku no Hero Academia: Actually thinking and pacing herself so she doesn't end up losing more limbs.
Blake needs to start fighting like Naruto: Using shadow clones as distractions rather than shields. It's possible because she did it to get away from Adam after he bodied Yang. She just needs to implement it into her fighting style.

That's a bit more creative, but it can be taken a step further. Imagine her not being able to control her shadows and them being in a set pose still, however she can make multiple of them and they can move as a unit (although still in the same pose) by following a "thread" of attachment to Blake. So what she could do instead is charge forward with multiple clones following behind her and use their momentum from following her to do neat stuff.
Pic related. In the top row she could use this effect to deliver combined hits when timed right and manipulating her speed, or maybe delay the shadows intentionally to hit afterwards. She could also use the combined effect to due powerful wall jumps or midair re-jumps and stuff. In the bottom row, she can hit enemies farther away than she normally could.
