Forced and unwilling transformation while the transformee is completely aware of the situation. Minor mental changes to the person are fine, or something like a higher libido or increased hunger. I mostly like to think about the part after the transformation though, like they are now a small cat person, what will they do? Their hands are now paw-like so simple tasks like opening a door or using silverware will be harder. Forget about playing action video games, they can probably only play games like VNs or turn based strategy games now.

I can't really point to the one moment when I first fapped to tf. It was just something that developed over time. I loved reading greek myths as a kid. Someone was always getting transformed. And there is Circe of course. Turning heroes into animals was her main thing. I started to look for it in comics, cartoons and science fiction books. Finding Jack Chalker's Well of Souls novels was a milestone. At some point the thoughts of transforming someone or someone transforming me became arousing, but there wasn't one special event.

I liked TransformationTime for a couple of months until the stat system was redone and made getting a balanced character nearly impossible. That and a built in misfire that trolls you no matter how much you devote in stats to get rid of it. Some use it mainly for roleplay and the game mechanics don't matter to them, but I actually played the game until the stats design made the fun into frustration. To be a little positive about it, the game has a lot of good tf ideas, like this living pillow girl.

As a couple of others have mentioned, I like forced and unwilling tfs. Someone getting stuck with a new body and having to deal with it, especially if they are trying to find a way to change back. Maybe they'll succeed. Maybe they'll be trapped forever. Humilating/embarrassing forms are a plus.

Forced transformation is even better when there's a delayed mental tf to go along with it. They feel like themselves at first, but as the days go by they can feel themselves getting stupid, or horny, or violent. I've witnessed him go through pixiv, nico nico seiga, some other Japanese only artwork sites, and a few twitter names already in just the past several years.
