So, I went ahead and now I've got three chapters in the OC-heavy musician based Zootopian story thing. I've worked on both Chapter One and Two from the original 1.1 draft. So, this is 1.3 for the whole thing.
ComicAnon, if you're still willing, could you do a silent re-reading (looking at the revised version) of the first chapter (since you already did a blind reading of the 1.1. Chapter one) and then continue on with your reading of the 1.3. version of Chapter Two and Chapter Three?
I know this is a lot of work for you and it's not like I'm doing something really profound or super interesting. I know that writing needs a lot put into it for it to really become something, but if you'd do that it would be fantastic. Thank you a ton.

What I've learned from FFN:
* time of day matters. If you want full exposure, upload just after at 3pm GMT+8. That gives you a full 24 hours for your first day.
* day matters. Still haven't ironed it out yet but the day of the week matters when you upload. I suspect it's based on what your readerbase is composed of, school/work, weekend/weekday, etc.
* Chapter 1 will ALWAYS have a disproportinate amount of views. Curious people clicking in will always see it first. That's why you can actually re-write/insert a new chapter 1 that's just designed to get your readers' interest. Use every trick in the book. Bump your former chapter 1 to 2 if need be.
* If you also draw, link it to your art sites.
* SHILL SHILL SHILL. Make a tumblr. Post every chapter update. Tweet it out. Use proper hashtags/tags.

Well I haven't gotten all the way through the critique yet. In fact I'm not even halfway through. I expect, though this may change, that the majority of my alterations will be mostly technical, smoothing out things like flow and clarity. No, that's literally just a meme. Anyone who wasn't just on the ride because it was LEL TEH LATEST MAYMAY FAD XDDD and ever truly cared about the characters can still find the show enjoyable. Plus, a lot of the characters' story arcs are starting to be wrapped up - i.e. Rarity getting her shop in Manehattan, CMC getting their cutie marks, Dash finally becoming a full-fledged wonderbolt, it's rather satisfying seeing characters you've grown to love so much starting to fulfill their dreams.

If you're able to do 8+ bodyweight pullups, I'd recommend trying weighted pull-ups every other day you would normally do pullups. Start with a 10lb weight and try to hit 3x5, eventually you'll be able to do a set of 8 pullups with a plate strapped to your waist.
