I think that blind read throughs are really, really useful for writers! Its like when you playtest games: you could coach the player in the beginning, tell them what you want to know, ask them to avoid certain bugs you know are there, explain what you were going for, give them tips about how to play, etc., but if you want to know if your game is good, you give them the control and say "have fun" and see what they do. That sort of instant reaction is golden for understanding how your game works, and I think is just as useful to hear when people read!
However, don't feel swayed because some people like my voice or whatever, you ask whatever you want! All I want is to help people make wonderful art for others to enjoy, in any way I can, so tell me what would best help you!

Writefag who read this last night, it's very good. At certain points, I maybe felt like Judy was being a little more open than she otherwise might, but that could also be due to where I dropped into the story as the reader.

FinNick fag again. First of all thanks for that cap of the previous talk. Second of all, seems there was a little more discussion after I took off. Capped that for the sake of convenience. There's a question of their motives in this affair they've been building up, so I'll try and elaborate a little more on what I think.
I'm of the opinion that while Nick knows and works with a lot of people for his various schemes, Finnick is the one person he talks and cooperates most with. Largely because of the presumption that it was Finn himself that Nick first started out his crooked life with, and learned from before surpassing. There's often no honor among thieves, but in their case, I think there is an element of trust and reliance that's come to take place over a long time. Nick is the 'better' hustler in many ways; He's the one cooking up most of their schemes, and taking the lead in their execution. He's more charismatic, and while he's still low on the social totem pole for being a fox, he's still a step above Finn by virtue of not being a *tiny fox*. He's rightfully smug and confident for all this, but he doesn't look down on Finnick either; Sure, he teases and jabs, because being an irritating but friendly 'prick' is just in his nature, but he cares about Finn's wellbeing all the same. Likewise could be said for Finn in return; he may hold some envy and resentment at Nick for all the perceived differences between them (not to mention all the sass he has to put up with), but he still likes the guy all the same, and probably enjoys his company outside of their mutual business. No man is an island after all.
What I mean in short, is that there is a type of emotional bond between the two to begin with. Not a romantic one and certainly more akin to platonic, but an emotional connection all the same. Nick learned a lot from Finn in the beginning. He eventually surpassed the fennec, but still holds respect and loyalty towards his oldest friend in the streets.

On the question of why Nick would go along with all this lewd affair, part of the answer is the bond they have. The other part I think, is the nature of his sexuality. Nick can get a vixen anytime he feels like it, and he has, unlike Finn; As a result of both this and his self-assured nature, Nick is very comfortable with his sexuality.. Comfortable enough to make the 'sloshed' half-jesting offer to Finn without feeling hesitant or self-conscious about it: It's no big deal, he knows he's straight; He's not making this offer as some guise for his own pent-up frustrations; He knows this isn't really going to degrade him in any manner, if he doesn't believe so... Thus he stays true to his offer when called out on it, and even enjoys the process; Partly because how amusing it is to see (and tease) a flustered Finnick acting all irate and grumpy, whilst begrudgingly enjoying the service...And partly because he discovers it's actually kind of hot and sweet, helping out a friend in such an intimate matter.
