New guy here. Not sure where the discourse is, but generally when someone makes a character who is an anthropomorphic animal, with a basis in a movie featuring the same, it's generally looked at that the person is a furry. My Little Pony had a similar situation arise, only they were called something else. The fact remains that if you make an anthro, you are going to be labeled a furry. If you sexualize the anthro then you are 100% certified furry.
