As for critique, I'd try and work on the fluidity of the head at the upmost part, and of her hips when they reach each side. Looks like she's hitting a wall; the deceleration is extreme. Also, maybe consider a smear frame on the frame when her head is near the centre.
You've avoided resizing (a good thing) and the posing/actions are well done. The cape is very well animated.

It could be, but I think its more an economical thing in cartoons. Fluidity requires more effort and probably more frames → more money, so it's rare to find in televised cartoon series nowadays. Again, I could be wrong.

I can explain if you want. I've always loved animation; got me into Gumball that got me into Prequel.

Tig is a cat who shows up to steal some of the dragon's hoard so that he can escape the orphanage he lives at in a weirdly more depressing arc, and the dragon takes pity on him and allows him to stay. Tig is very cynical and crabby. He doesn't really do witty or anything, but he plays off the knight pretty well as a straight man.
