I don't usually read lewd, so I dunno how much merit my comments about the lewd scenes would hold. I will say that I found it pretty hot, if maybe a bit short. I also feel like there could be a bit more dialogue before the, um, climax, but that's just me.
Also, I love the characterization of Nick and Judy in this. The dialogue is really well written and it actually feels like Nick and Judy, which is a lot more than I can say for a lot of other fanfiction I've read.
However, one piece of advice I have is to try to be wary of "Talking Head Syndrome." A lot of the dialogue is just dialogue with no descriptions of their visual reactions. One thing you could try when writing is to visualize the scene in your head, and try to think of how they would react to certain dialogue and put it on paper. It really helps to emphasize the characters' emotions.

There were actually points where I felt it was getting repetitive with the dialogue-then-action setup, but I was hinging really hard on character interactions, mostly by dialogue, so I couldn't just cut it.
Still, fair criticism, I'll look for ways to vary the structure without cutting action or speech in the future.
As for the lewd scene: It was forced on my part. I wanted to give it a shot, but I just felt awkward and weird writing it, but it fit in the story for the dynamics I was reaching for, so I forced through it.
Good but short seems to be the common complaint with it, but I don't think I plan to do lewd in the future. Comfy suits me just fine.
I'm glad you thought the dialogue was good. I find I can tend to write Nick decently, but I have low opinions of my writing for Judy usually, so that helps.

Skimming through the fic again made me realize that it's not as bad as I made it sound. You obviously made a conscious effort to show their reactions. The trick is knowing how to space it out, how to show which emotions and when, knowing when it's okay to just skip to the next line of dialogue without showing a reaction. It's a delicate balance, and it takes trial and effort to get down right.
And believe me, I know how hard it is to keep it from becoming repetitive. Despite my criticisms, you did a decent job at it.
And a note on feeling awkward about writing stuff. If what you're writing makes you feel awkward, it might be best to not write it. I'm not saying the lewd was bad by any means, but your work isn't going to be the very best it can be if you're not comfortable and satisfied with the words you're writing. However, you obviously wanted to give it a shot, and I applaud you for trying something outside your comfort zone.

I'd love to be able to make stories, but never quite know how to go from a vague but interesting idea to a finished product. Do you just slam into it and figure it out on the way? Have you found anything akin to 'drawing fundamentals' for story creation that makes it easier to figure out how to do things?

How many artist anons have contributed to these zootopia boards? The only ones I know of are chumpy, bb, and weaver. I noticed a fair amount of pencil anons here or there, cant tell some of them apart. Much love to you all if you help.
