I guess it depends on how old you were but I had just turned 8 so I was just aware enough for my parents to explain terrorism and why we were having to evacuate our building and go downtown. That adrenaline was ridiculous. It was seeing every adult I knew lose their shit have have no idea what was going on. It shattered my perception of the world, and I want to live in that moment again.

Whats the cutoff to the stuff you guys consider "nostalgia"?
I've seen people post stuff here like Toontown and Beyblade from like 2000-2005, yet I have a feeling if someone posted something like say Bakguan or Total drama island, I have a feeling people would scream "underage GET OUT REEE".
What happened between 2005 and 2007 that turned everything all "newfaggy"? It's like, getting nostalgic for something from 2003 feels right, yet getting nostalgic for something release only 5 years later feel utterly wrong. Was it iPhones and the economy crash?

>>2807283
No cutoff. People get too worked up over what other people consider nostalgic. Nostalgia literally just means yearning for something from the past. You could be nostalgic about where you were in life two weeks ago, though if someone told me that I'd assume they just went through some really rough shit.
A month ago I logged into my account for the first time since like, 08 and did a jigsaw puzzle. All the users and shit are still various forms of lulrandumb/edgy cancer (to be fair, my avi was pretty edgy), but dear god the nostalgia from that chill music during the puzzle.
Also I have items that are worth billions of gold because they were cash items from, well, like 06 and 07. It's a shame I'm never going back
