And the worst animal. Well, that's hard choice. Probably bunnies because they're too sexy.

Intake. It's in the pastebin.
It's very well written. There's clear character progression, the world is interesting, it's a unique perspective, easy to read, actually finished.
When you're done you can actually go back and see how Nick has progressed as a character and why.
Like I said, it's only 10k words, but you can read it in like 20 minutes, and it's well written .

Dreams of Steel and Bone
Fucking spot-on characterization and a more plot-oriented story than most. Also, a shit-ton of Terry Pratchett Discworld references, but the story gets by on its own if you don't into Discworld.
And the WlideHopps shipping is god-tier slow-burn.

There are offhand references to Snapcase, a former mayor that went nuts
There's a character that's basically Vetinari in demeanor (so far)
Moles = dwarves in spirit but it's not a straight bridge
That's all off the top of my head (and in the author's notes)
It keeps it unobtrusive enough that you wouldn't notice if you didn't do Discworld, but not in your face enough to be annoying if you do.
>>2646092

Water Under the Bridge is one of the better crime-stories our there. The characterizations are spot-on perfect and the banter is some of the best written I've ever read. It's so fucking real, there's at least three or four laugh out loud moments in this fic.
A possible con might be that there's not a whole lot of shipping. Like, if >>2646043 thinks that's a slow burn, they don't even know. The fic is ~40k (also this shit is long) and Nick and Judy are just getting to the 'mutually attracted' and 'possibly more than friends' stage. So if you want quick cute, it might not be for you.
Another possible con is your opinion on OCs. There's a few in this fic, villians specifically, and they're given a lot of development. They don't overshadow the CCs imo, and actually complement them in terms of how the story plays out. But some people just don't like OCs so it warrants a mention.
But check it out, it's worth the time it'll take to read.
>>2646497
everyone else is rping as animals too, anon
>>2646520
Is there a process you'd go through to verify it will be her fart?
Or would you undrag your dick if you find out it isn't?
How does this work man.
>>2646092
sorry if I'm being dense here but I don't really get the joke. I know there are lewd implications, but what are they? Is 'bounce house' bunny code for sex party?
All this RPing as animals shit is really weird and furry and makes me uncomfortable. You guys are taking it a little too far.
>>2646462
feels bad man
>>2646578
Bunnies bounce.
Bunnies also have lots of sex.
A bouncy house is a place you bounce in.
Bunnies don't need that.
So bunnies make it a place to have lots of sex.

>RPing
What do you mean anon, we are animals
Ok reposting this one more time to gauge interest. Last time I promise.
Me drawfag. Me done drawn this comic. Now, I've been knocking around a few ideas for the next one, and I figured I'd take a page out of Weaver's playbook and ask the audience what they'd prefer to see me work on next. Which of these sounds the most interesting, if any?
>Exit Wounds
>Nick visits his comatose partner in the hospital, ruminating on the events that drove them apart.
Starts with some drama and ends up with an TUSK raid action sequence. That'll be a learning experience, I'm not very talented with action sequences.
>The Big Hustle
>Judy has fallen in love, but it's not with Nick! After one too many drinks, the distraught fox decides to go against his own mantra of «never let them see that they get to you» and confronts her in a desperate attempt to win her affections back.
Drama, romance, espionage! This one is the longest and likely would be chopped up into smaller pieces. Might do others in between "chapters". I promise it's not just a rehash of TSF.
>A Dream of Blueberries
>To her shame, Judy's primal fears almost destroyed a close friendship and very nearly tore a whole society apart. She might think she's defeated her inner demons, but in dreams they can always bubble back to the surface in anyone.
This one's probably the shortest, and is mostly just for a chance to do some artsy shit I don't normally do. Horror with a little romance.
>The Case File
>Veteran detectives Wilde-Hopps are struggling with a difficult case. While some challenges might seem hopeless, they are reminded of the value of perseverance, patience and dogged commitment.
Kind of sappy, drama and romance.
I hope to get around to do them all eventually... can't be sure of it though. Let me know which sounds the most fun to you?
>>2645783
You taking any more requests?

>Blueberries
>Hustle
>Case File
>>2646578
Yes, it's a euphemism. Bouncing bunnies implies sex.
So a "Bounce House" for bunnies is probably a place where they have no-strings-attached orgies or exhibitionistic hookups or something.
AND I JUST REALIZED WHAT THAT MEANS ABOUT HER OFFERING TO GO IN WITH NICK.
>>2646402

>>2646616

>>2646540
I think I just realised why I love Water Under the Bridge so much; it is so Song of Ice and Fire it hurts.
The fucking insane but believable and perhaps even likable villain(s), the shifting from character to character, the well written plot, the unveiling of the story, etc.
It's all just too good.

Actually I think The Late Stake could be a pretty good premise for an ERP but what do I know.
>"Oh Nicky... trying on your old uniform?" said the old vixen slinking up to her now much older son, placing a hand on his shoulder while resting her chin on the other
>"Y-yeah mom I just... heeeeeh...." the once sly fox said, his face burning with what would have been blush had he been shaven
>"Oh for that rabbit girl of yours i suppose." she said, dismissing his love interest, running her hand down her sons sides before giving his bottom a light pat before pressing herself into him and whispering in his ear "I don't know what you see in her honey... is it some kind of... prey fetish?"
>"Mom, please don't. She's in the next r-"
>"Shhh shhh baby I know" she replies, her eyes half lidded, Nick drawn to them in the mirror, not daring to move. "You always looked so cute in that little number." she adds with a sigh, breaking her embrace and falling back to the bed where she picks up a book on the night stand and starts reading; Nicks eyes running over her motherly form, her game breaking hips on full display as she lays on her side.
>"You should really get back to her honey. Don't want her scampering off." she says with a wink.
>... ... ...
>Nick closes the door, stepping into the living room, his scout uniform under his arm
>"Ugh! I thought you'd never finish... Come on, lets get going... you get everything you need?"
>"Y-yeah."
>"Good."
>... ... ...
>Judy closes the door to the cruser, turning over the motor
>"You should visit your mom more, she's nice."
>"Y-yeah..." he responds, catching his mother waving to him out of the corner of his eye from the bedroom, the strap of her sundress hanging around her arm and exposing an unusually large amount of fox tit.
>>2646927
huh?
>>2646885

>>2646935

The latest chapter was a little too, "I just read Fifth Elephant" for me and I feel like we need some serious Judy time after all Nick all day but its still something I keep open for when it updates.
I hope she doesn't make the panther guy too Vetinari. Vetinari works in a very specific time, place, and way, and Zootopia is not it.
>>2646970
>Nick awakes with a groan, sunlight filling his blurry vision as the song of birds begins to fill his ears; a strange yet familiar sensation hits him as he feels the bed compress.
>He groggily opens his eyes, looking down "Judy?"
>"Oh you're finally up sweetie." the old fox chimes, a cup of steaming coffee in one hand, her other placed on her sons lap over she sheet. Nick feels the heat draining from his body as pricks run up his spine; suddenly wide awake.
>"Oh... good... good morning mom." He says, feeling himself twitch under her benign weight to his chagrin.
>She chuckles and takes a sip of her coffee, her pink bathrobe slipping down her shoulder exposing a hint of nipple. Nicks eyes shoot to it then back to her face as he flicks his paws at the end of the bed trying to focus on something else and not excite himself.
>"Good morning dear." she coos, rolling over on top of him, their faces inches away. Her breath reeking of sweetened coffee "I hope my little kit slept well." She says grinning before sitting back up.
>"Breakfast will be "up" in a bit, do try to get it while it's hot this time..."
>She slinks off the bead and walks toward the door, her tail waving in rhythm with her hips
>"I'll go make sure you're girlfriend's awake, try not to make us wait too long Nicky..." she says with a wink, closing the door behind her.

>Nick rounds the bend of the hallway, slumped over to conceal his early morning problem.
>Though awake and alert he plays the act of the bedhead, slowly and lazily shuffling to the kitchen table.
>His mother sways her hips in rhythm with the clanking of a spoon on porcelain as she stirs another cup of coffee on the counter.
>"Oh look who's finally up!" She smiles, turning around as Nick pulls out his chair and slumps down.
>His mother slides the hot beverage in front of him, bending over and exposing herself through her rob, just past her tuft of chest fluff.
>"Y-yeah..." he says, shockingly taking a swig of his mothers overly sweet coffee before noticing the lipstick on it and setting it down.
>"HEY RED!" a voice yells before Nick feels a small impact on his thigh.
>He looks down to see his energetic partner already dressed in her morning jog wear, bouncing up and down with excitement.
>"Ready for the day?" she smiles, hoisting herself up to the chair as Mrs. Wilde sets a stack of pancakes in front of each of them before sitting down herself, her hand on her chin and a grin across her face.
>"So why are you two planning to do today?"
>"Oh! oh!" Judy exclaims before vomiting out words a hundred miles a minute
>Nick begins stuffing his face with food, not interested in hearing Judy reiterate her schedule for the 100th time on their vacation, but he jolts as he feels pressure.
>Looking down he spots his mothers foot, brushing up against his thigh and working its way up.
>"Hey Nick... you feeling ok?" Judy asks, mouth nearly full.
>The foot graces his lap before being pulled free, his mother leaning across the table, her loose robe unfurling as she puts a hand against his head
>"No fever which is strange for Nicky since he's always running a bit hot..."
>She kisses his nose before drawing away, her robe now around her arms
>"Nose is cold and wet though so I'm sure he'll be more than fine today Officer."

Shame he couldn't manage to write more than one female personality. The rest of his work was brilliant, but the man clearly had some hangup about women.
...Same for Jim Butcher, now that I think of it, but at least he doesn't hide it or pretend it's anything else.
>>2647169
Not so. Jim Butcher actually managed to write TWO different kinds of women in his latest book!
Three if you count the creepy psyker chick as a woman and not a puppet.
>>2647192
I'm amazed. Codex Alera, Dresden Files, something else? Only really been reading the Files, got into it when I was super bored on holiday and even then the first book or two wasn't great. Later books have been a huge improvement, to be fair.

> what's your gripe with medievalsad, anon?
A bit of levity goes a long way, anon.
Every book is just 'it got worse and everyone smells bad and has sex which is also a potpourri of stonk when you think about it'
Also why hasn't anyone just arrowed Ramsey yet, the fucker is a gonk and wears pink all the time.
I actually like it, it's just frustrating at times.
>>2647169
What really? I thought the witch books had some really interesting women.
Like I'm not sure if you're doing the, "male author so time to shit on his woman-writing ability" troll or its a legit criticism.
>>2647249
SPECIAL AGENT SABERHOUND.
REALLY.
>>2647123
I herd you like pred/prey play J
>>2647131
>Edgelord mary sue
Nigga you what?
I mean, I guess it's subjective, but I liked Finn's character, and he hardly classifies as a mary sue.
Unless I'm being baited; I always fail to realize before biting.
>>2647275
I didn't say the characters were bad, I'm saying all the Discworld women who got much screen time had the same basic personality. Tough, smart/wise, resourceful, you know the one. Lady Sybil, Granny Weatherwax, Adora Belle Dearheart, Pteppic's sister whose name I can't remember, even Annagramma when she stopped being a cunt.
>>2647301
those sexfaces. tent pitched yet again. great find, J.

His new series, The Aeronaut's Windlass. Post-apocalyptic Napoleonic steampunk fantasy. In a good way, not a faggy one.
They described it as:
>"set in a world 'of black spires that tower for miles over a mist-shrouded surface' and follows a war between two of the Spires: Spire Albion and Spire Aurora".
and
>Butcher said "It's kinda League of Extraordinary Gentlemen meets Sherlock meets Hornblower. There are goggles and airships and steam power and bizarre crystal technology and talking cats, who are horrid little bullies."
Shit's good.
>>2647131
Give it a chance, anon, the character is actually really likable.
I don't know how, but the author managed to capture the charm and playfulness of an actual ferret while still making the character really fucking dangerous.
>>2647193
That's fine, it was just fun responding.
(And, uh, I've never used F-list before and wouldn't know where to start, haha.)

>Judy fingering herself so intently in the first two panels
